Recruitment Agency is basically an intermediate body, between a company that is looking to hire someone for a particular department and a person who is looking for getting a job. Employers of different companies and organizations hire recruitment agencies to find candidates that are suitable for a particular job. The company, who has not got time or resources to hire people directly, take help from these agencies. Although, each recruitment agency has its different specialized process to work, but the basics remain the same.
Firstly, the agency receives a job description from the organization that has got a vacancy. Advertising or posting vacancies on a good Recruitment Agency’s page, gives them a chance, to find a better candidate, who will be good from others in the competition, so that the best candidate that is fit for the job fills in.
After receiving the job profile and description, and going through them in detail, the agency searches its database and shortlists candidates who are perfect for that particular job. This is done with the help of the CVs and resumes of the candidates that they have submitted to this agency. Now, the organization selects the individual which is best suited for the job according to them. Due to the fact, that recruitment agencies in india converse with both the companies and the candidates as well, the recruiters gain knowledge of the sectors or fields they work in. They can provide with some good and valuable advice as well. By doing so, they can significant expertise and job market insights which employers can use in accordance to their needs and demands. Now, if you’ve been selected by the company, the company will ask the agency to notify the candidate about his/her selection and would ask to schedule an interview for the same.
These were the basic steps that each agency follows. Some agencies hold interviews on their behalf only and negotiate salaries and benefits and then just select a candidate for the company, for that particular job profile. A candidate if wanting get selected in any of the job, need to provide with the CVs. After that the agencies constantly keep on posting job vacancies on their pages. So you can find any of the job description that suits you, fill out the application, submit your CV. Some companies have an interview process, some conduct tests, that is totally dependent on the recruitment process of the company. Whatever is the case, perform all the steps, and then get hired!!
